Is hiring an experienced Landscape Crew Leader / Driver to join our growing team. This is a year-round, full-time position based in Tampa, FL, working primarily on commercial landscape maintenance routes.

Landscape Crew Leader / Driver

Position Overview

The ideal candidate has at least one year of recent landscaping experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to lead a crew while working in Florida’s outdoor conditions. This role requires early mornings and availability for Saturday work, with a start time of 6:30 a.m. at our shop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and lead a landscape crew on commercial maintenance routes (4–6 days per week)
  • Perform landscape maintenance tasks including:

-Mowing (30", 36", and 52" walk-behind and stand-on mowers)

-Line trimming and edging

-Backpack blowing

-Leaf raking, sweeping, shoveling

-Hedge trimming and shrub pruning

-Use of hand pruners, loppers, pruning saws

-Planting and maintaining flower beds

-Hand weeding and debris removal

  • Safely and properly operate all landscape equipment
  • Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites
  • Deliver high-quality work and excellent customer service
  • Follow all safety protocols and company standards

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of landscape or lawn care experience (construction-related experience also considered)
  • Valid Florida driver’s license (preferred) with a clean driving record
  • Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to read and write English (bilingual a plus)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physically demanding work in the Florida heat
  • Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused
